Exporting and printing your analytics

Last updated September 25, 2026

In short. On the Analytics page, Export CSV downloads the totals, rates and daily numbers for the date range and scope you are viewing. Print report prints the page without the menus, and your browser's print dialog can save it as a PDF.

The Analytics page has two buttons beside the date range: Export CSV and Print report. Both cover exactly what you are looking at, so pick the date range, and Mine or All if your team shares the account, before you use them. They appear once something was sent in the range.

What is in the CSV?

One file with three parts, which any spreadsheet opens as is:

  1. What it covers: the start and end dates (in UTC), whether it is all sends or only yours, and when it was made.
  2. Totals and rates: sent, delivered, opens and unique opens, clicks and unique clicks, bounces (hard and soft), complaints and unsubscribes, then the open, click, bounce and unsubscribe rates as percentages.
  3. One row per day: the date (a UTC day), sent, opened, clicked and bounced.

A note at the top explains how to read the numbers. Usually it says that some mail apps, such as Apple Mail with its privacy protection, open email automatically, so the open rate reads high; why open rates are approximate explains it. If your connected mailbox sends with open tracking off, those sends are never counted as delivered or opened, so the note says the open rate covers only email SEMAOS sent. A rate with nothing to measure against, such as an open rate when no email was delivered, is left blank rather than shown as 0. On the Free plan, email goes out through your own mailbox, so clicks, bounces and delivery are not tracked and show as 0, opens are tracked only if you turned on open tracking for your mailbox, the rates are left blank, and the note says so.

Each rate is labelled with what it is measured against. Opens, clicks and unsubscribes are a percentage of delivered emails, and bounces a percentage of sent ones.

How do I get a PDF?

Click Print report. The printout leaves out the app's menus, banners and buttons, fits the chart and its legend to the page width, prints in light colors even if you use the dark theme, and adds a line saying which sends and dates the metrics cover. In the print dialog, choose Save as PDF as the destination to keep a copy instead of printing one.

Who can export?

Anyone on the account who can open the Analytics page. Mine exports only the sends you made; All exports the whole account's, the same numbers the page shows.
